I had my own web site back when I studied in the University of Tampere. But when I graduated I couldn't have my site on the University server anymore. Ever since then I've missed doing this stuff. I am not a code wizard so I understand the technology I use might not be the most up-to-date. But who cares as long as I have fun at it!

 

For the last 10 years or so I have been fascinated by the welsh ponies. The ponies that got me interested in this breed to were a black welsh section B mare Grace V.A. (link to the pedigree site Sukuposti) and her son Blacksteps Bodyguard "Otto", born in 1994 (in the photo as a foal). Grace made such a big impression on me that I "had to" buy her when I got the chance, in June 2010.

On June 5, 2011, Grace foaled a nice filly. I named the filly Graylan Gwendolyn aka Ruusa. She is everything I wished for and most likely will not be the last "Graylan" foal.

Since the mid-90s I have had the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful welsh ponies that I don't see myself with any other kind of a pony. A couple of ponies that deserve to be mentioned are Otto's sire Steehorst Pride that I just got to know a couple of years ago, and welsh mountain stallion Verdrefawr Ifor that I ride in the above photo (taken by the excellent photographer Mataleena Pesonen., more photos of me and Ifor in Photobucket). Unfortunately, both of those stallions deceased in 2009.
